At HOPE, we recognize the pivotal role music plays in creating the right atmosphere for worship during our services. A strong team of anointed singers and skilled instrumentalists make up the Hope Temple Choir (HTC). Together they lead worship and praise ministrations at all services.
“For thus the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman; let him announce what he sees. When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, let him listen diligently, very diligently.” Then he who saw cried out: “Upon a watchtower I stand, oh Lord, continually by day, and at my post I am stationed whole nights. (Isa 21:6-8)
The Word of God consistently demonstrates the need for Christians to stand firmly and unmoving like the watchmen of old.
We believe strongly in prayer at HOPE and understand that great power is birthed in us as we pursue a lifestyle of fervent prayer and intercession. Watch Tower is the prayer department of the church. All Members who willingly desire to intercede for themselves and others form part of this power house.
Meeting times are Mondays 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Sundays 7:00am to 8:00am before service begins.
This is the children’s department of the church. Palace kids meet separately on Sundays and are led in basic lessons of the Christian faith to help them to grow spiritually and demonstrate love and respect for one another. Biblical concepts including salvation, obedience and gratitude amongst others, are reemphasised. The Children are taught through playing and interactive games, quizzes and other exercises.
